Acentrik platform is agnostic to the kind of data being shared and can be applied to any data from any industry. There are two formats of data which can be exchanged on the platform, dataset/algorithm.

Acentrik’s Global Data Marketplace is built to showcase the capabilities of Acentrik’s Data Exchange Platform in enabling participants from various organizations to exchange/monetize data assets. This is a community marketplace for companies to advertise their products to an open ecosystem of consumers.

  1. Compute-to-data: Enabling privacy-preserving compute, by bringing algorithm to the data instead of bringing data out of the environments to the algorithm.
  2. Connect directly to source: Acentrik does not have access nor store other organizations’ data. Acentrik follows a distributed architecture, with connectivity to data sources from platform via Edge computing node setup on data owners’ environment. This can then be connected to a data endpoint published as data product.
  3. Fine-grained permissions: Acentrik has strong mechanisms for organizations to fully control data access and retain ownership of their data assets – this is done in three-levels. Read more.

Verifiability of data transactions is ensured especially when there are multi-parties involved. Properties of Blockchain such as Tokenization of Data ownership is used in Acentrik, as a representation of data access and data ownership. Data monetization takes place wallet-to-wallet, with seamless settlement and without intermediary.

Acentrik can be deployed on any EVM compatible blockchain network. For our ready-to-use Global Data Marketplace, we are deployed on Polygon Mainnet. For more information on connecting to the Polygon Mainnet, there are further instructions on our starter kit here.

A Web3 compatible Wallet can be used on the platform. Recommended Wallet is MetaMask. You can also connect and switch to multiple wallets, from your Web3 wallet extension.

USDC is used as a currency for data monetization, while tokens for gas fees are based on the network of individual users.

Gas fees are transaction fees to process and validate transactions on a Blockchain network. The amount of gas fees is dependent on the relevant network connected. Please note that the amount changes on a real-time basis.

Data assets on Acentrik are linked to the edge nodes through an HTTPs endpoint. This means that as long as the file endpoint remains unchanged, the data can be updated continuously on the backend. There’s no need for data providers to constantly re-upload new versions of their data assets.

We deploy whitelabel data marketplaces for organizations to build their business model on top of it, as per their data strategy.

Yes, the current whitelabel will be licensed based on the mutually agreed usage requirements.

There are various revenue models you can choose from, ranging from transaction fee model, subscription fees, a freemium model, or pricing per data product etc., allowing you to select the one that best aligns with your business strategy and objectives.

With the nature of Acentrik’s solution, the platform acts as an orchestrator to connect to the various data sources of the participants – data stays in the providers’ environment.

Acentrik is designed to prioritize your data’s security and sovereignty. The platform itself does not store any of your data. Only encrypted metadata is stored on-chain, on the Blockchain. Your enterprise data remains solely as yours, with the ownership and control to your data assets.

Smart contracts are used to facilitate a fair transfer of assets. A data asset published in the marketplace is represented by both ERC721 token for ownership and ERC20 for access. When a consumer purchases the data asset, they receive an equivalent ERC20 datatoken, which is then exchanged for an encrypted access to the data owner’s data.

The responsibility of maintaining the data product lies entirely with the data asset owners.
